The exam
SKS exams are taken before the examination boards of the DMYV (Deutscher Motoryachtverband) and DSV (Deutscher Segler-Verband), acting on behalf of the German federal government, and require the SBF See as a prerequisite. Is the app available in English?
No, the app is German-only – deliberately so, because in the SKS theory exam you must write your answers in German. An English study aid could never train that skill; working through the original German questions and formulating German answers in the app is the preparation that counts.
Do I need the SBF See before the SKS?
